Melting Snow
Beneath the frozen shackles lies what seems an eternity,
Uneroded by the erosion of time,
Unmelted by the turning of seasons.
Only when radiance transforms into an inner pulse,
And flowing fullness permeates the veins of ice,
Like an infinite tide,
Shall it rouse the swan that cranes its neck to take wing.
